For our training programmes that are SkillsFuture Credit-eligible, Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to offset nett course fees, subject to the relevant eligibility criteria being met.

The grant provides reimbursement to employers who send their employees for training courses funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) during regular working hours. It also compensates employers for training conducted outside of working hours, covering the overtime pay that would otherwise have been incurred.
Funding is claimable at up to $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year
- To qualify for this grant, organisations must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Eligibility also applies to non-business entities such as Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) and societies, even if they are not registered with ACRA
- Sole proprietorships that meet the above criteria are also eligible

| Who should take the refresher courses? | First Aid and CPR certificates accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) are valid for 2 years. This validity ensures that skills stay current and effective. To renew your certification, you must complete a refresher course before it expires. |
| How do I check if I am due for renewal? | Check the expiry date printed on your certificate. You may also contact SRCA for assistance in verifying your renewal status. |
| How long is the Refresher certification valid? | All SRFAC-accredited Standard First Aid certifications (including Refresher) are valid for 2 years. |
| When can I renew my certification? | Provider certificates are eligible for renewal 3 months before or 3 months after the stated expiry date on the certificate. If more than 3 months have passed, you must retake the full course. |
| Is the refresher available online? | No. SRFAC requires all practical assessments to be conducted in person. Theory components may be delivered via e-learning, but hands-on evaluation must be completed face-to-face. |

Based on SRFAC guidelines as of 31st March 2023, there are:
1 Instructor: 1 Manikin: 4 Learners or 1 Seasoned Instructor: 2 Manikins : 6 Learners for our accredited courses such as Standard First Aid, Child First Aid and Occupational First Aid.
We do sell First Aid Kits at our SRCA Office. Prices range from $5 for a mini-First Aid Kit, $35 for a Standard First Aid Kit and up to $60 for a fully equipped First Aid Box. Free delivery for orders above $500.

Replacement of a card certificate is chargeable at $20 (Before GST). You may email us at academy@redcross.sg to arrange for collection at the training center nearest to you.
Trainees will receive a credit card-sized certificate on the day of assessment upon attaining Competent/Successful Completion of the First Aid and Life Support courses. An electronic Certificate of Attendance may be issued upon request for those who may require.
- Cancellation/deferment of course must be made in writing via email to academy@redcross.sg or respective location manager in-charge at least 8 calendar days BEFORE the course start date.
- An administrative fee of $40 (Before GST) will be charged for a late deferment request.
- The full fee will be charged for late cancellation or absence.
- A request to transfer a training slot to another participant MUST BE MADE in writing AT LEAST 24 hours BEFORE the course start date.
- Late requests will not be accepted and will be treated as absenteeism.
- A valid Medical Certificate is required to reschedule training dates at no additional cost
- Requests must be made within 5 calendar days AFTER the course date
- 100% attendance is compulsory to sit for the test
- Absenteeism or lateness without a valid Medical documentation will be marked as absent.
- Trainees with pre-existing heart and lung conditions or knee, spinal and joint injuries are advised to seek doctor’s clearance to perform CPR
- Red Cross bears no responsibility for any injuries sustained during the course
- Pregnant ladies are highly discouraged from performing CPR and will need to sign the indemnity form to attend the course

Payment Methods

VISA/MASTERCARD
When you register for the course online, you will be automatically redirected to make the payment online. This is highly recommended as it is convenient for you to do so.
Bank Transfer
In the event you are unable to make payment via VISA/MASTERCARD, you can also opt to do an online bank transfer of the payment amount directly to us. Do email us at academy@redcross.sg for our bank details to facilitate the transfer.

It is the prerogative of Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) hiring managers to clarify your qualifications before engaging you to conduct lessons.
In order to be a OFA trainer, you will be required to possess the following qualifications based on MOM qualifications:
- Possess either the Red Cross Train-The-Trainer (OFA Instructor Course) or St John Higher First Aid Certification with BCLS+AED Instructor Certificate.
- Possess minimum ACLP / ACTA.
- Attend the SISO Academy's Code of Ethics.

The OFA Instructor Certificate cannot be used to conduct SRFAC Standard First Aid Course from 1st August 2021. Please register for the Standard First Aid Instructor Course if you are interested.
Since SRFAC introduced the SRFAC SFA Instructor Course in June 2021, new aspiring instructors are no longer able to conduct both SRFAC SFA and MOM OFAC due to different agencies' qualifications. For more information please refer to the SFA Instructor Course Information for details.
The SFA Instructor Certificate cannot be used to conduct MOM Occupational First Aid Course from 1st August 2021. Please register for the Occupational First Aid Instructor Course if you are interested.
You cannot acquire a MOM OFA instructor license to teach SRFAC SFA courses as well or vice-versa as a New First Aid Instructor.
For Chief Instructor (CI) matters, please refer to SRFAC Instructor guidelines as attached by SRFAC, not by the Red Cross. For any further queries, please email the relevant agency.
However, 4 years of relevant training is teaching SRFAC basic courses such as SRFAC's CPR+AED or SRFAC's BCLS+AED, not certified/responding at a provider level e.g First Aider / WSHO. For SRFAC CI appointment it is based on your years of teaching SRFAC courses to meet its eligibility and recommendation, while appointment is by the SRFAC. There are no such SRFAC CI certification courses conducted by SRFAC as CI is by appointment-based.
